1. What we collect

When you submit a scan we process the target URL and your IP address. We treat IP addresses as personal data (PII), consistent with the Breyer ruling of the CJEU that dynamic IPs can identify individuals.

2. Legal basis

We process IP addresses on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing abuse, enforcing rate limits, and keeping the service available. This basis applies without prejudice to applicable law in any jurisdiction.

3. Retention and minimization

Raw IP addresses are used transiently for rate-limit decisions and are not stored in raw form beyond that instant. For abuse accounting we store only a truncated or hashed derivative. All IP data is deleted within 30 days of collection.

4. No sale of data

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use scan inputs for advertising.

To request removal of a site from our index or discovery pipeline, use Remove my site. For privacy requests contact abuse@crawlinx.com. No DPO is required for an independent operator of this scale; abuse@crawlinx.com is the designated privacy contact.
